Intelligence begins when blind certainty ends. A closed mind only searches for confirmation, while an open mind searches for truth. Real learning requires humility, patience, and the courage to question our own assumptions.

Many people confuse confidence with knowledge. They speak loudly, defend old opinions, and avoid difficult questions. But wisdom begins when a person admits that he may be wrong. This is not weakness. It is the beginning of intellectual maturity.

The Qur’an repeatedly invites human beings to think, reflect, observe, and use reason. Islam does not ask the human being to abandon intellect. It asks him to use it responsibly.

A thoughtful person does not accept every claim because it is popular, emotional, or familiar. He asks: What is the evidence? Is this fair? Am I being honest with the truth?

Reflection question: Which belief of mine have I never seriously examined?

ذہانت وہاں شروع ہوتی ہے جہاں اندھی یقینیت ختم ہوتی ہے۔ بند ذہن صرف اپنی بات کی تصدیق تلاش کرتا ہے، جبکہ کھلا ذہن حقیقت کی تلاش کرتا ہے۔ حقیقی علم کے لیے عاجزی، صبر اور اپنی رائے پر سوال اٹھانے کا حوصلہ چاہیے۔

بہت سے لوگ اعتماد کو علم سمجھ لیتے ہیں۔ وہ بلند آواز میں بولتے ہیں، پرانی رائے کا دفاع کرتے ہیں اور مشکل سوالات سے بچتے ہیں۔ مگر دانائی اس وقت شروع ہوتی ہے جب انسان یہ مان لیتا ہے کہ وہ غلط بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔

قرآن بار بار انسان کو غور، فکر اور عقل کے استعمال کی دعوت دیتا ہے۔ اسلام عقل کو چھوڑنے کا نہیں، بلکہ اسے ذمہ داری سے استعمال کرنے کا پیغام دیتا ہے۔

سوال: میری کون سی رائے ایسی ہے جس پر میں نے کبھی سنجیدگی سے غور نہیں کیا؟
