Self-Accountability Changes the Human Being
خود احتسابی انسان کو بدل دیتی ہے
Self-accountability changes the human being. A person who never examines himself repeats the same mistakes with new excuses. But the one who pauses, reflects, and corrects himself begins to grow.
Self-accountability is not self-hatred. It is honesty with the soul. It means asking: Was I fair? Did I speak with wisdom? Did I hurt someone? Did I waste time? Did I act according to my values?
Imam Aliؑ is widely known for emphasizing self-examination and moral awareness. The spirit of Nahj al-Balagha repeatedly calls the human being toward reflection, humility, and justice.
A person who reviews his actions daily becomes less controlled by ego and more guided by conscience.
Reflection question: What did I do today that I should improve tomorrow?
